A low-motivation day plan that starts below the floor

A personal-story shaped guide to planning when depression or burnout makes ordinary tasks feel too heavy.

Some days do not need a morning routine. They need a floor.

When motivation is low, normal planning advice can feel insulting. "Eat a balanced breakfast, exercise, batch your tasks" assumes you are already standing. On a hard day, the first plan might be: sit up, drink water, open the curtain, send one text that buys you time.

That is not failure. That is accurate planning.

The below-the-floor check-in

A useful AI assistant should start with capacity, not ambition. Try asking:

  • What is the smallest version of taking care of my body?
  • What is the one admin task that will reduce tomorrow's damage?
  • Who needs a short, honest message from me?
  • What can be deliberately postponed without pretending it vanished?

The answer might be boring. Good. Boring is often accessible.

One honest sentence

On low-motivation days, Lifecoach works best when you begin with the truth: "I have almost no battery and everything feels too much." From there, the assistant can reduce the day to food, hygiene, one message, one piece of admin, and rest.

The point is not to transform the day into a success story. The point is to stop the shame spiral from making tomorrow harder.
